Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, hit theaters across the country on Thursday night. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, so it definitely has star power behind it.

According to the reports, the comedy drama took home $5.8 million in Thursday night previews at the box office, which is a pretty good opening.

Insiders say it should make around $30 million this weekend. His previous film, The Hateful Eight, made a little over $15 million during its opening weekend, but that was after a $5 million limited release weekend.

A $30 million opening would match what Django Unchained made back in 2012.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has been receiving mostly positive reviews from critics, as to be expected with a Tarantino flick.

I watched the movie yesterday and while it certainly isn’t my favorite Tarantino film, it does have a few memorable scenes. Normally, I wouldn’t recommend a movie based on a few great scenes, but these scenes are so good that I’m going to encourage you to watch the movie.

It’s nearly three hours long though, so be prepared. Go pee during the trailers.
