Tom Cruise is proving that no mission is impossible, even at the age of 52. We all know Tom Cruise likes to perform his own stunts in movies. To dangling from the side of the world’s tallest building in Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, to jumping off couches on the set of Oprah’s daytime talk show. This man is clearly dedicated to keeping us entertained. You can hate on his personal life all you want, but you can’t deny that he’s one of the hardest working actors in the business.
And he proved that again recently while filming the latest Mission: Impossible film. For some reason during the film, Cruise’s character finds himself hanging on the outside of an Airbus A400M. The Daily Mail shared the photos recently, and they claim the military plane went 5,000 feet in the air while Tom Cruise performed his insane stunt.
Obviously they made sure he was secure with two safety harnesses, but we can’t imagine there are too many movie stars who would do something this dangerous. That’s why you hire someone less important to risk their life. If some stunt double falls off the plane, they can just hire another stunt double.
But if Tom Cruise falls off the plane? The movie is over. Money is wasted. People get fired and Tom Cruise’s soul will enter another meat body and he’ll live another amazing life.
Check out the impressive photos down below, and be sure to catch the film in a theater near you sometime in late 2015.
