Why do people go to the movie theater? To pay $15 for a bag of popcorn? To sit next to someone who smells like meatballs and heated mayonnaise? No, that’s not it.
We go to the movies because we want to be entertained, right? We want to forget about real life for two hours and just escape. And that’s probably why some people get so angry when they pay to see a boring movie.
But we don’t think you’ll need to worry about this happening with Mad Max: Fury Road. The trailers for this movie have been insane. I mean, some of the moments inside the trailers make Furious 7 look like a simple car chase between a 90-year-old Grandmother and a small-town police force.
This fourth film in the Mad Max franchise could be the best film in the franchise. After all, this one actually appears to have a plot, which is a nice change.
The film was directed by George Miller, and it features an impressive cast. Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Zoe Kravitz, and Nicholas Hoult.
Check out the trailer below. Mad Max: Fury Road hits theaters May 15.
