Kristen Stewart Says Filming New Movie ‘Underwater’ Was Completely Terrifying

The sci-fi/horror flick ‘Underwater’ hits theaters this weekend, and to promote the film, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the crew held a special fan screening at Alamo Drafthouse in Los Angeles.

During the Q&A session, Stewart revealed how scary the filming process was, “It was so scary and so horrific. It wasn’t fun scary. It was f–ed up scary,” she revealed.

Apparently she spent most of the time filming in the water with 100 lb. scuba suits.

It was so terrifying, in fact, that Stewart (who is ‘scared of swimming’) skipped prep for it. On the other hand, her co-stars Jessica Henwick and John Gallagher Jr. took scuba diving lessons when they arrived in New Orleans to shoot the project.

Underwater follows a crew of researchers stationed in an underwater research facility who get trapped in a flood triggered by an earthquake.

Don’t expect this movie to be great though. It was filmed all the way back in 2017 and is just now being released. This movie so old that T.J. Miller is co-starring in it. Ain’t no one hiring his goofy a** now.

I bet you anything Stewart has hated promoting this movie. She already doesn’t like talking to the media, but promoting a film you probably hate and filmed three years ago? Ouch.
