As most of you know by now, Legendary is developing an adaptation of Dune, the ridiculously popular sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert.
Denis Villeneuve is set to direct this project, and he’s going to have a lot of star power to work with.
According to a new report, Josh Brolin is the latest actor to join the cast. He will be joining stars like Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem. Sources say Oscar Isaac and Zendaya are currently in talks to join as well.
“Dune, considered a sci-fi literary classic, tells the complex story of a fallen noble family’s attempt to control a desert planet named Arrakis and its export, a rare spice drug, even as it is betrayed by a galactic emperor.”
The script for this adaptation was written by Villeneuve, Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts. No word on a release date, but we will keep you posted.
If you want more Brolin right now, catch him in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ which is scheduled to be released April 26, 2019.[mashshare]
