Jonah Hill went from an actor who yelled, “Ask me about my wiener!” while dressed in a ridiculous hot dog costume, to insinuating that his back was actually located on his penis, to starring in Oscar-nominated films with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.

It’s safe to say Mr. Hill is an incredibly talented dude, and now he’s going to get the chance to show off his directing skills. The 32-year-old actor will move behind the camera to direct his coming-of-age film “Mid ’90s.”

As Variety reports, plot details are not clear right now, but sources confirm the movie will follow a young skateboarder and his group of skater friends in 1990s Los Angeles. The source also reports that Hill will not be acting in the movie.

The report also claims, “The film will be produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush with their frequent collaborators A24,” which is obviously great news for Hill. He’s going to have an amazing support team.

We don’t know when filming is scheduled to start or who will star in the movie, but we’ll be sure to let you know once the information is released. It’s going to be interesting to see the finished product. Hill has admitted in the past to being interested in directing, but claims he has trouble giving directions to actors.
