Jennifer Garner Will Produce And Star In Netflix Comedy Film ‘Family Leave’

Jennifer Garner and Netflix are developing a healthy working relationship. On March 12, the streaming giant will release the Jennifer Garner-starring family comedy, Yes Day.

The film co-stars Jenna Ortega and Edgar Ramirez. The story follows a set of parents who decide to give their kids a “yes day” in which the kids have 24 hours to make all the rules.

After that film is released next month, Garner will turn her attention to another Netflix project.

She has signed on to star/produce a comedy film titled Family Leave. The movie is reportedly inspired by New York Times bestselling author Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s book, Bedtime For Mommy.

The plot centers on the Brenners, who wake up to a full family body switch and quickly realize the same thing has happened to a family on the other side of the world. They must unite with this group of strangers and determine how to undo the switch, all while hilariously navigating daily life in a different body before it is too late.

Neither film sounds groundbreaking, but they do sound entertaining, especially if you have a family. Netflix knows their market, and both films should play well.

Congrats to Garner!
