Quentin Tarantino is reportedly working with a budget around $100 million for his upcoming film ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ and it looks like a majority of that budget will be going toward paying the talented cast members.
We already knew Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Burt Reynolds, Margot Robbie and Timothy Olyphant were set to star in the film, which is kinda about the Manson murders, but also kinda not.
It was reported this week that Al Pacino has officially signed on to join the project as well. He will be playing DiCaprio’s character’s agent.
“The pic takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), the former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt). Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they no longer recognize. But Dalton has a very famous next-door neighbor … Sharon Tate.”
Emile Hirsch and Dakota Fanning are also set to co-star in the movie. It’s expected to be released worldwide on August 9, 2019.
It’s going to be a wild ride.
