We have seen several film versions of the ol’ ‘Robin Hood‘ story. Back in 2010, Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe teamed up to create a version of the story. It received mixed reviews from critics, but it more than doubled its budget at the box office, so I guess it was a success.

Fast forward 8 years later, and now we have another ‘Robin Hood’ hitting theaters. This time the film is being directed by Otto Bathurst, who is making his feature debut.

The film stars Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx. IndieWire provides us with some more details…

“Egerton, best known for his role leading in the ‘Kingsman’ franchise, heads the cast as the titular bandit. Foxx plays Little John, one of Hood’s best friends and the leader of the Merry Men outlaws. Ben Mendelsohn stars as the villain, while ‘The Knick’ breakout Eve Hewson plays Hood’s love interest, Maid Marian. Jamie Dornan, Josh Herdman, and Björn Bengtsson co-star.”

‘Robin Hood’ will hit theaters November 21, 2018. Check out the trailer below…
