Did the world need a Jumanji reboot? The answer is no, especially since Robin Williams is no longer alive to star in it. But Hollywood wants money, and they’re probably going to get a lot of it with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
The reboot stars Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillan. One of the first things you’ll notice in the trailer is that Jack Black sounds like a teen girl, and that’s because he is a teen girl…kinda.
The adults (Johnson, Hart, Black, Gillan) are apparently portraying the avatars of high school kids playing the old, haunted video game known as Jumanji.
Which means you’ll hear Black say things like, “I can’t even with this place,” and “that was, like, so intense,” throughout the movie, so that shouldn’t be annoying at all.
The film is scheduled to be released December 20, 2017. It’s going to make a lot of money. I will cry. The world will continue to have creativity sucked out of it.
Anyway, check out the trailer below!!!
