The First Full-Length Trailer For ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Has Arrived, And It Doesn’t Reveal Too Much About The Sequel (VIDEO)

One of the biggest problems people have with trailers is that they give away too much of the movie. It’s difficult to be surprised by anything when every film seems to release 3 or 4 trailers before it hits theaters.

But the first, full-length trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has arrived, and it’s managed to avoid spoiling anything. It reveals just enough to get you excited, but offers nothing more.

This sequel, which is being directed by Arrival’s Denis Villeneuve, stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford.

The film won’t hit theaters until October 6, 2017, and we all know what that means. Blogs will spend the next few months trying to find all the mysteries hidden inside this trailer. They will look at every single frame of this trailer to find something no one else is seeing.

And that’s cool, but I won’t be participating in the madness. I’d rather be surprised. You don’t need to know everything.

Check out the official synopsis and trailer below…

“Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who’s been missing for 30 years.”
