‘The Walking Dead’ just aired its season 7 finale this past Sunday. It was pretty intense. We won’t spoil anything for you, but we will say that the line “Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” has never been more appropriate. .
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) was of course one of the stars of the episode, and all you Dean fans can rest easy knowing he will return for season 8.
But he’ll also be making time for another project. According to multiple reports, the 50-year-old actor will join Dwayne Johnson in the New Line monster film, Rampage.
It’s currently scheduled to be released April 20, 2018, and the cast is stacked with lots of talent. In addition to Johnson and Morgan, you also have Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman and Joe Manganiello.
The logline for the movie has still not been released, but we do have this piece of information from Deadline…
“[Based on the 1980s Midway arcade game] There are three giant monsters wreaking havoc across North America – and Johnson is the only hope of stopping them. Morgan will play Agent Russell, who works for a covert government division called OGA and rolls with serious swagger and attitude.”
