Do you have a religious grandma? Maybe an aunt who loves to go to church every Sunday? If so, you need to call them up and tell them to clear their schedule for June 30.
The Little Hours stars Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza and Kate Micucci as three nuns who are a little cavalier about the rules. And they only get more unruly when the hired hand Massetto (Dave Franco) arrives at the convent.
And by now, you probably realize this is not a great film to watch with your sweet grandma. This second trailer released today is the SFW version. If you’d like to watch the NSFW trailer, you can click on this link to check it out.
In addition to the actors mentioned above, the film also stars John C. Reilly, Nick Offerman and Molly Shannon. You can check out the official synposis and trailer below. The Little Hours will hit theaters June 30, 2017.
Medieval nuns Alessandra (Alison Brie), Fernanda (Aubrey Plaza), and Ginevra (Kate Micucci) lead a simple life in their convent. Their days are spent chafing at monastic routine, spying on one another, and berating the estate’s day laborer. After a particularly vicious insult session drives the peasant away, Father Tommasso (John C. Reilly) brings on new hired hand Massetto (Dave Franco), a virile young servant forced into hiding by his angry lord. Introduced to the sisters as a deaf-mute to discourage temptation, Massetto struggles to maintain his cover as the repressed nunnery erupts in a whirlwind of pansexual horniness, substance abuse, and wicked revelry.
