Fans of the 2019 hit film ‘Little Women‘ are ~buzzing~ on social media after some eagle-eyed viewers spotted two water bottles in the scene where the March sisters visit the Laurence household for the first time.
What makes this extra juicy is that director Greta Gerwig talked about how this scene was one of her favorites in the film. She even broke down the scene in a video interview with Vanity Fair.
It’s crazy to think that the water bottle escaped her (and everyone else) while editing the film, and then also while she was breaking down the scene months later.
Obviously a water bottle left in a scene wouldn’t be a big deal for most movies, but when the film is set in the 1800s, it stands out a bit, ya’ know?
A similar thing happened during the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ when a Starbucks cup found its way into the final edit.
It just goes to show you, no matter how many eyes are on something, mistakes can still find their way in. It’s like when you check an email three times for any typos, and then you check it again a few hours later after pressing send and notice you said, “How are you dioing?”
