One of the biggest movie stars in the world just called out Donald Trump.
Dwayne Johnson posted a passionate video to his Twitter account earlier this week, calling out Trump’s lack of leadership.
Where are you? Where is our leader? Where is our leader at this time when our country is down on its knees, begging, pleading, hurt, angry, frustrated, in pain with its arms out, just wanting to be heard?
And that was his theme in this video message. Where is Trump? Where is the leadership? Where is the compassion? Where is the understanding?
Where is our compassionate leader who’s going to step up to our country who’s down on its knees, and extend a hand and say, ‘You stand up, stand up with me because I got you. I hear you, I’m listening to you. And you have my word that I’m going to do everything in my power, until my dying day, my last breath, to do everything I can to create the change that is needed, to normalize equality because Black lives matter.’ Where are you?
Sadly, he’s not going to get an answer, ’cause Trump doesn’t care. He doesn’t understand. He’s a rich white guy who has received everything he’s wanted in life.
He can’t possibly understand the problems that young black men and women face.
That’s why he should have never been elected. You can’t have a leader who lacks compassion. You just can’t. You can’t lead people if you’re incapable of empathizing with them.
