There is not a lot of exciting movie news to report today, so we’re reaching deep with this one. The soundtrack (Awesome Mix Vol. 2) to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released earlier this week, and as expected…it’s filled with some great tunes.

You’ll remember just how great the soundtrack for the first film was. It reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, and as of January 2015, it sold overĀ 1,000,000 copies, and went certified Platinum.

This new soundtrack for the second film in the franchise will likely have similar success. It features songs from Fleetwood Mac, George Harrison, Sam Cooke, Cat Stevens, and uh…David Hasselhoff.

That’s right. The Baywatch star has his own song on the track, and you can listen to it in the video below.

Hasselhoff rapping in a song performed by a fictional band full of aliens? Sure. It’s 2017. Anything can (and probably will) happen.

By the way, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5, 2017.
