Chris Pratt Talks Star-Lord Contract With Marvel, Reveals He Will Appear In Movies Outside ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

Chris Pratt landed the cover story of the recent issue of GQ, and during the lengthy interview, Pratt talked about his future with Marvel Studios. Obviously he didn’t give away too much, but his answer does make it clear his character won’t be confined to the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

“I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know. Two more Guardians plus another couple…”

As you can see, he is being extremely careful with what he says. Or maybe he just doesn’t know yet. Either way, this has started a serious conversation online. Marvel fans are trying to figure out which upcoming Marvel film Pratt’s character might be in.

Right now, the only official Marvel Cinematic Universe film with Mr. Pratt is Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which is scheduled to be released in 2017.

But some fans believe the “another couple” comment is a hint the Guardians gang will make an appearance in the two part Infinity War event. And honestly, that probably makes the most sense. It’s hard to see where Peter Quill would fit in any of the other upcoming Marvel films.

We’ll see what happens. They’ll probably try to keep it a secret for as long as possible.
