Back in 2015, Alex Garland released the sci-fi thriller Ex Machina, and it was a major success. It received a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it was one of my favorite films of 2015, which should mean a lot to you because I know good movies…OKAY?
Garland is back with a new sci-fi thriller titled Annihilation. This film is based on Jeff VanderMeer’s novel of the same name. Back in September, Paramount released the first trailer, and now we’re getting our second look at the film. This new trailer gives us a much deeper look into the film’s surreal universe.
Here is the plot from Wiki:
“A biologist’s husband disappears. She puts her name forward for an expedition into an environmental disaster zone, but does not quite find what she’s expecting. The expedition team is made up of the biologist, an anthropologist, a psychologist, a surveyor, and a linguist.”
Annihilation will hit theaters February 23, 2018, and it looks like it’s going to be a wild ride. Check out the trailer below…
