Watch The Disturbing Trailer For ‘The House That Jack Built’ And Find Out How You Can Watch It Inside A Theater Near You

Controversial filmmaker Lars von Trier made a return to the Cannes film festival this past year after being banned for seven years. He premiered the serial killer drama ‘The House That Jack Built‘ and immediately made everyone regret their decision to let him back in.

People say the movie is overly violent, gross and just plain terrible, which kinda makes you want to watch it, right? Don’t be ashamed.

You can watch the latest trailer for the film at the bottom of the page, but before you do that, you should know that a director’s cut of the movie will play inside theaters for one night only on November 28. This is the version that caused all the drama at Cannes, so it’s probably worth a ticket.

After that, the standard version will be released inside select theaters and on VOD on December 14.

Check Out The Latest Trailer For ‘How To Train Your Dragon 3’

The lovable Hiccup and Toothless are the two stars of the upcoming ‘How To Train Your Dragon 3

This latest trailer opens by setting up Hiccup’s desire to find the hidden world that is home to the dragons. Hiccup is voiced by Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera returns to voice Astrid.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Dean DeBlois said this film will work as an end to Hiccup’s trilogy…

“So much of Hiccup’s identity, as a leader and an adult, is because of his relationship with Toothless. But if Toothless is not there, who is Hiccup? You will understand why Hiccup says, as you heard in the trailer, ‘There were dragons when I was a boy.’”

Looks like this movie will be teaching the important lesson of letting go. Not just for Hiccup, but for the audience as well.

Check out the trailer below. How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World will hit theaters February 22, 2019.

Check Out The Trailer For The Upcoming Thriller-Horror Film ‘Bird Box’ Starring Sandra Bullock

Back in 2009, Sandra Bullock won multiple awards for her starring role in ‘The Blind Side,’ and now in 2018…she’s actually blind. Or at least blindfolded.

In Netflix’s upcoming horror flick ‘Bird Box‘ Bullock plays a desperate mom trying to lead her kids to safety. You see, a mysterious creature has taken out most of the world’s population. If you lock eyes with this creature, you’ll die, which is where the voluntary blindness comes in.

Trevante Rhodes and John Malkovich also star in the movie, which on paper sounds like the opposite of A Quiet Place.

I must admit, it’s a pretty engaging premise, and Bullock always brings just the right amount of drama to her roles, so I am pretty hyped for this movie.

It’ll be released inside select theaters and on Netflix December 21, 2019. Check out the trailer below…

Watch The First Trailer For Psychological Thriller ‘Escape Room’

Are you one of those people who love finding clues? You’d take a scavenger hunt over a night out drinking? If you answered yes, then you’ll probably be interested in the upcoming psychological thriller Escape Room.

The first trailer was released this week and it looks like it could have potential. Adam Robitel is the director behind the film. He was the man behind the camera for The Taking Of Deborah Logan and Insidious: The Last Key.

Escape Room stars Logan Miller, Taylor Russell, Deborah Ann Woll and Jay Ellis.

Check out the official synopsis and trailer below. It’s set to hit theaters January 4…

“Escape Room is a psychological thriller about six strangers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control and must use their wits to find the clues or die.”

Nicole Kidman Is Mad As Hell In Trailer For Thriller Flick ‘Destroyer’

We have seen Nicole Kidman play a number of different roles, but we’ve never seen her quite like this.

In the cop thriller ‘Destroyer‘ Kidman plays LAPD detective Erin Bell, “who gets thrown back into the memories of her dark past after a gang leader from a previous case that ended in tragedy re-emerges years later.”

Kidman is nearly unrecognizable in this role, and we’re not just talking about her look. Even her attitude, the way she walks…it’s all different. She really lost herself for this movie.

IndieWire’s Eric Kohn praised her performance…

“Her versatility is often the center of any movie in which she stars, but she hasn’t burrowed this deep into her material since ‘Birth,’ She transforms herself into such a vivid creature of discontent that it’s a wonder she doesn’t swing for these extremes more often.”

I feel like Kidman is at the top of her game right now. You can check out the trailer for ‘Destroyer’ below. It’ll be released inside select theaters Christmas 2018.

Watch Keira Knightley And Alexander Skarsgård Star In Trailer For ‘The Aftermath’

There have been several movies released throughout the years containing stories from WWII. It’s honestly becoming a bit boring now. It’s on the same level as the Fast & Furious franchise…how many movies about one subject do we really need?

The Aftermath‘ promises to be a little different in that the events take place just after the war has ended.

Keira Knightly stares in the post-WWII drama, and her character finds herself in a love triangle with Alexander Skarsgård and Jason Clarke.

You can check out the official synopsis below…

“Set in postwar Germany in 1946, Rachael Morgan (Knightley) arrives in the ruins of Hamburg in the bitter winter, to be reunited with her husband Lewis (Clarke), a British colonel charged with rebuilding the shattered city. But as they set off for their new home, Rachael is stunned to discover that Lewis has made an unexpected decision:

They will be sharing the grand house with its previous owners, a German widower (Skarsgård) and his troubled daughter. In this charged atmosphere, enmity and grief give way to passion and betrayal.”

Check out the trailer below. It’s set to hit theaters April 26, 2019.

Check Out The First Teaser Trailer For Live-Action ‘Aladdin’ Film Starring Will Smith

Disney is keeping the live-action remakes coming. The live-action remake of the 1992 classic ‘Aladdin‘ is scheduled to hit theaters May 24, 2019.

And since we’re just six months away now, Disney decided it was time to hit us with the first teaser trailer.

Newcomer Mena Massoud has the titular role. Will Smith is taking on the role as the Genie and Marwan Kenzari will portray Jafar.

John August wrote the script for this remake, which is pretty exciting for the screenwriting nerds of the world. For those who don’t know, August is known for being very active online with the screenwriting community. He even has a podcast with fellow screenwriter Craig Mazin called Scriptnotes.

So yeah, it’s nice to see him land such a big title. We’re sure he got a nice little paycheck.

It’ll be interesting to see how fans and critics react to this movie. So far, Disney has had a lot of success with their live-action remakes. Can they keep it going?

Watch The Official Trailer For ‘Ben is Back’ Starring Julia Roberts And Lucas Hedges

Lucas Hedges is one of the most talented young actors in Hollywood right now, so it makes sense that a studio would partner him up with a legend like Julia Roberts.

Both Roberts and Hedges star in the upcoming family drama, Ben is Back. In the movie, Hedges plays a troubled boy who arrives home on Christmas Eve unexpectedly after skipping rehab.

Roberts plays his concerned mother. The movie has been receiving lots of praise from critics who saw early screenings. Peter Debruge, one of the most respected critics in the game, said this in his review of the film

“The entire film is that rarest of gifts for its cast, providing virtually every character with a chance to play not only the present moment, but the complicated history they’ve established with Ben in the past, as well as whatever chance they see in the troubled young man’s future.”

This movie could take home a few awards. It’s set to be released in prime award season on December 7, 2019.

Watch The Terrifying First Trailer For Stephen King Remake ‘Pet Sematary’

It’s October, which means you should be afraid. Some people believe October is about pumpkins and sweaters, but it’s actually about goofs and scares.

And the first trailer for ‘Pet Sematary‘ will definitely scare you. The remake, which is coming out 30 years after the first big screen adaptation, is based on Stephen King’s horror novel of the same.

According to the official synopsis, this movie follows Dr. Louis Creed and his family as they relocate from Boston to rural Maine…

“[The film] follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”

Sounds creepy enough to me. You can check out the trailer below. You might want to watch it with a friend. Pet Sematary is set to be released April 5, 2019.

Check Out The Full Trailer For The Battle Rap Movie ‘Bodied’ Produced By Eminem

The last time Eminem had his hands in a battle rap feature, the movie ended up winning an Oscar for Best Original Song. 8 Mile was a surprise hit, bringing in nearly $250 million at the box office.

That was 16 years ago, though. We’re in 2018 now, and Eminem is hoping to find similar success with a little flicked titled Bodied.

Eminem doesn’t star in this movie, but he is an executive producer. The movie follows a white kid named Adam. He’s a progressive grad student who finds success (and outrage) when his interest in battle rap becomes an obsession.

A few critics have watched early screenings of this movie, and surprisingly, they have mostly positive things to say. We say surprisingly because this is a YouTube Original movie, and most every “original” program YouTube releases is sh*t.

The trailer does look pretty entertaining. I’ll probably give the film a watch. It’ll hit select theaters November 2, 2018, and then it’ll be released on YouTube a short time later.
