Brad Pitt is teaming up with Sony Pictures and director David Leitch to bring the ‘Bullet Train‘ story to life.
The movie, which is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle, was written by Zak Olkewicz.
In the novel, five assassins find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to one another. The question becomes, who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?
Production on the film is expected to begin later this year, so it looks like this will be Pitt’s next movie.
Antoine Fuqua was the first to develop this project with his production company. He’ll stick around as a producer.
No word on who will co-star alongside Pitt, but you can bet there are plenty of actors jumping at the chance.
We’ll keep you posted as more information is released.
