Adam Driver Set To Star In Sci-Fi Thriller ’65’ From Writers Of ‘A Quiet Place’

Now that Star Wars is behind him, Adam Driver can now take on more projects, and it looks like his next one will be Sony’s sci-fi thriller, 65.

The writers behindA Quiet Place‘ will write/direct. Sam Raimi is set to join as a producer.

The film marks a reunion for Beck and Woods with Raimi, as the two recently wrote and directed an episode of Raimi’s Quibi series 50 States of Fright.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we do know it’s an original story from Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. It’s also not clear when production will begin, due to the lingering threat of COVID-19.

Additionally, Driver is currently busy filming The Last Duel with Ridley Scott. Production just started back up on the film after being delayed several months due to the pandemic.

Driver is coming off a busy 2019 that included his Oscar-nominated performance in Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story, Amazon Studios’ The Report and reprising his role of Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Driver is a legit movie star now. I mean, he was in 2019 as well, but his star level is increasing. I still remember his days on ‘Girls’ — you could tell he had something special then.
