You may have first noticed Brian Tyree Henry in ‘Atlanta’ but now you probably notice him in everything. From ‘This Is Us‘ to ‘If Beale Street Could Talk‘ to ‘Widows’ to ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘.
It’s safe to say, Henry is currently in the prime of his career, and it’s nice to see that Hollywood has recognized his talent.
It was just reported this week that the 37-year-old actor will be joining the cast of A Quiet Place 2.
There’s absolutely no info regarding the plot of the new film, so we have no idea who Henry is playing. The first A Quiet Place focused on a family – played by Krasinski, Blunt, Simmonds, and Jupe – struggling to survive in a world where aliens drawn by sound have wiped out most of the earth’s population.
We’re hoping he has more than just a few minutes on screen. Hopefully he has at least a co-starring role. Or hell, make him a lead! He deserves it. He’s had a lot of guest spots. It’s time for him to transition to leading role.
Although, this might not be the film to do it in. There is a strong chance this sequel disappoints. I’m still not sure why they’re even making a sequel. The first film had so much success. Why mess with a good thing? Why does everything have to be about money?
